Licensing Thames Sailing Club (Inc.) to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp, Slipway, and Jetties at Kauaeranga River, Thames
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, 1, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Thames Sailing Club (Inc.) (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Kauaeranga River, at Thames, as shown on plans marked M.D. (N) 108, M.D. (N) 75, and M.D. 15484, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport, at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp, slipway, and jetties as shown on the said plans, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 7 years from the 1st day of July 1976.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be eighty dollars ($80); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.
(4) Every person who is a member of the Thames Sailing Club (Inc.) and who uses one of the said jetties shall pay to the club an annual fee of $10.
(5) Every person who is not a member of the Thames Sailing Club (Inc.) and who uses one of the said jetties shall pay to the club a fee of 50c per day.
(6) There shall be free use and access for payers of fees upon payment of the prescribed fees and free liberty at all reasonable times to use the jetties.
(7) The revenue from the fees shall be used for the maintenance and improvement of the jetties and amenities directly related to them, and to meet supervision and administrative costs.

Maori Land Development Notice
WHEREAS by virtue of the notice, referred to in the first Schedule hereto, the land described in that notice was declared to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953; and whereas the appellations of certain parcels of the land have been changed by subsequent orders
of the Maori Land Court; and whereas it is desired to release certain parcels of the land from the provisions of Part XXIV, and to replace the notice, aforesaid, by a further notice referring only to the parcels of land which are to remain subject to Part XXIV/53;
Now, therefore, pursuant to sections 330 and 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board gives notice as follows.
NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Whangarei 1976, No. 23.
  2. The notice, referred to in the First Schedule hereto, is hereby revoked, being replaced, to the extent necessary, by the Maori Land Board Notice Whangarei 1976, No. 24, issued contemporaneously with this notice.
  3. The land, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
