Declaring Land Taken for the Onehunga-Manurewa Motorway in the City of Manukau

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land, described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Cook, and hereby proclaims that the road, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby closed and also hereby declares that the road, firstly, secondly, thirdly, fourthly, fifthly, and sixthly described in the said Second Schedule, shall, when so closed, vest in Michael John Stock, of Gisborne, sheep farmer, and Mary Doreen Stock, of Gisborne, widow, and also hereby declares that the road, seventhly and eighthly described, in the said Second Schedule, shall, when so closed, vest in Noel Arthur Foster, of Gisborne, farmer, subject to mortgages 105947 and 117275.1, Gisborne Land Registry.
