Authorising a Secondary Use of Land in Block XIII, Tekapo Survey District, and Vesting the Control and Management thereof in the Tekapo Domain Board

Pursuant to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:
(a) authorises the application of the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for the development of water power and for electricity works (Lake Tekapo Power Scheme) to recreation purposes which shall be a secondary use of the said land,
(b) specifies that Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 shall apply to the said land, and
(c) vests the control and management of the said land in the Tekapo Domain Board.
