PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that, a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945 and that the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby taken, subject to the condition as to the building line imposed by Order in Council No. 1490, for the purposes of Part II of the Urban Renewal and Housing Improvement Act 1945, and that the said pieces of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington from and after the 26th day of February 1976.
