  1. Nothing in this notice shall be deemed to affect any provisions in any collective agreements or awards requiring workers subject to such collective agreements or awards to be members of a union.

Licensing the Otago Branch of New Zealand Jet Boat Association Incorporated to Occupy a Site for a Launching Ramp at Taieri River

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Otago Branch of New Zealand Jet Boat Assn. Inc. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Taieri River, as shown on plan marked M.D. 15645 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a launching ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years, from the 1st day of February 1976.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be forty dollars ($40); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

(4) Every person who uses the launching ramp shall pay to the licensee a due of 50c per day.

(5) There shall be free use and access for payers of dues and free liberty for such payers at all reasonable times to use the boat ramp.

(6) The revenue from the dues shall be used for the maintenance and improvements of the launching ramp and amenities directly related to it, and to meet supervision and administrative costs.

Declaration of Vehicle With Motor Cycle Controls to be a Motor Cycle

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary for Transport hereby declares that the three-wheeled vehicle, described in the Schedule hereto, having motor cycle controls, is a motor cycle for the purpose of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

THE vehicle with motor cycle controls known as the "Honda ATC-90".

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby amended by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
