The Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 1, 1976

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 1, 1976.
  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
  3. The Traffic (Marlborough County) Notice No. 2, 1975, dated the 26th day of August 1975*, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to roads situated within Marlborough County at Renwick is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Marlborough County at Renwick:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 160 metres measured south-westerly along the said highway, from Inkerman Street to a point 50 metres measured southerly generally along the said highway from Havelock Street.

Alison Crescent.

Alma Street: from No. 63 State Highway to a point measured 20 metres measured northerly generally along Alma Street from Oudenaarde Street.

Anglesea Street: from No. 6 State Highway to Boyce Street, Agincourt Street,

Blenheim Street: from No. 6 State Highway to a point 50 metres northerly generally from No. 6 State Highway.

Brook Street: from Havelock Street to a point 20 metres measured northerly generally along Brook Street from Oudenaarde Street.

Brydon Street.

Clyde Street.

Havelock Street.

Inkerman Street: from No. 63 State Highway (Renwick-Kawatiri) to a point 50 metres measured northerly generally from No. 6 State Highway.

Kirk Street.

The Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 2, 1976

Pursuant to the Transport Act the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taupo County) Notice No. 2, 1976.

Note: Amendments listed here are not included in the markdown output

  1. The area and street specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  2. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  3. The Traffic (Taupo County) Notice 1966, dated the 22nd day of June 1966†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, which relates to an area and roads situated within Taupo County at Turangi, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Situated within Taupo County at Turangi:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-eastern side of No. 41 State Highway (Taumarunui-Turangi), 220 metres measured north-westerly, generally along the said State highway from Pautaata Street; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point in the middle of Hirangi Road, 240 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Papua Street, and the production of that right line to the southern bank of the Tongariro River; thence easterly and south-easterly generally along the said southern bank of the Tongariro River to the north-western side of No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence south-westerly generally along that roadside to the north-eastern side of No. 41 State Highway (Taumarunui-Turangi); thence north-westerly generally along the said north-eastern side of No. 41 State Highway (Taumarunui-Turangi) to the commencing point.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Situated within Taupo County at Turangi:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Taupehi Road to a point 800 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the northern end of the Tongariro River bridge.

Taupehi Road: from its northern intersection with No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 240 metres measured southerly generally along the said Taupehi Road from Kutai Street.

The Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1976

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1976.
  2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
  3. The roads, specified in the Second Schedule hereto, are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purpose of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 20th day of December, in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in the next ensuing year and the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year, shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 70-kilometres-an-hour fixed by the said regulation.
