PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby appoints
Angus Douglas Wilson
to be a member of the Board of Trustees, constituted under
the Wanganui and Rangitikei Racecourses Act 1862, Province
of Wellington, Session IX, No. 9, in place of Charles Roderick
Stewart Paterson, resigned.

Canada

Appointment of Licensing Authorities for Collection of
Heavy-Traffic Fees
PURSUANT to subclause (3) of regulation 18 of the Motor
Vehicle Taxation Regulations 1966, the Minister of Transport
hereby appoints the Secretary for Transport to be the
licensing authority for the purpose of collecting heavy-traffic
fees, due under the said regulations, for the Te Awamutu
Borough.

Judicature Amendment Act
PURSUANT to section 2 of the Judicature Amendment Act
1930, as amended by section 2 of the Judicature Amendment

to be a member of the Rules Committee, for the special
purpose of revising the Code of Civil Procedure, such appointment
to commence on the 1st day of January 1977.

Appointment of Examiners under the Shipping and Seamen
Act 1952
PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Transport
under the Ministry of Transport Act 1968
John Hawthorne,
George Timothy Harley Nicol, and

are hereby appointed to be examiners for the purpose of
granting:
(a) Certificates of competency as A.B.; and
(b) Certificates of competency as qualified fishing deckhand,
in terms of sections 50 and 50A of the Shipping and
Seamen Act 1952, with effect from the date hereof.
