Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the Borough of Masterton,
County of Masterton, and the Te Whiti and Opaki Ridings
of Masterton County; the boundaries having previously
been altered by Order in Council made on 3 February 1975,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 7, 5 February
1975, page 184.

SCHEDULE
BOROUGH OF MASTERTON
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing
1799 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing
at the intersection of the south-eastern side of the Wellington-
Napier Railway and the northern boundary of Lot 18, D.P.
22540, and proceeding generally easterly along that boundary,
the abutment of Miro Street, the northern boundaries of Lots
3, 4, and 5, D.P. 23182, and part Lot 33, D.P. 22540, the
southern, eastern, and again southern boundaries of Lot 1,
D.P. 21577, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary
to the eastern side of No. 2 State Highway (Opaki Street);
thence northerly along that side to the northern side of Fifth
Street; thence easterly along that side and a right line to
the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P. 5623; thence southerly
along the eastern side of Manuka Street for distances of
33.62 metres, 257.62 metres, and 90.91 metres; thence easterly
along right lines bearing 98° 17' distance 322.33 metres, and
bearing 110° 52' distance 279.7 metres to a point on the
south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 5623, distant 67.89
metres from the south-western corner of Lot 2, D.P. 11197;
thence north-easterly to that corner and south-easterly along
the south-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 11197, and its
production to and along the south-eastern side of Gordon Street; thence
south-westerly along that side to the north-eastern boundary
of Lot 1, D.P. 15154; thence south-easterly along that boundary
to a line parallel to and 60.35 metres distant from the south-
eastern side of Gordon Street and south-westerly along that
line to and north-westerly along the south-western boundary
of Lot 1, D.P. 15594; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern
boundaries of Lots 1 to 8 (Incl.) D.P. 15594 and their
production to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 17, D.P. 15594, and Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 40601,
and their production to and along the south-eastern boundaries
of Lots 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, and 18, D.P. 16228, and south-easterly
along the northern side of No. 52 State Highway (Te Ore
Ore Road) to the right bank of the Ruamahanga River;
thence generally south-westerly along that bank, the north-
western boundary of Section 14, Masterton Small Farm

Street to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots

along the middle of that stream to a point in line with the

along that side, the south-eastern side of South Road and
the left bank of the Waingawa River to a point in line with
the south-eastern side of the Wellington-Napier Railway;
thence generally north-easterly to and along that side, the
western side of Upper Mania Road to a point in line with
the south-eastern side of the south-western side of Judds
Road to the north-western side of Railway Road, along
that side and the south-western side of West Bush Road to
a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 4,
D.P. 42720, and to and along that boundary and its
production to a point in line with the south-western boundary
of Lot 7, D.P. 33297; thence generally north-westerly to and
along the south-western boundaries of Lots 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2,

21170, along a right line to the south-western corner of Lot 1,
D.P. 19644, along the southern boundary of the said Lot
1, the generally south-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 4017,
the north-western side of Okura Road to a point in line with
the north-western boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 49495, to and along
that boundary and its production to the right bank of the
Waipoua River and along that bank to and along the south-
eastern side of the Wellington-Napier Railway to the point
of commencement.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District containing
2386 square kilometres, more or less, bounded by a line
commencing in the middle of the Mataikona River in Block
III, Castlepoint S.D., and proceeding south-westerly along
the sea coast to the middle of the mouth of the Kaiwhata
River; thence generally westerly up the middle of that river
to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5,
Block IV, Kaiwhata S.D., and along the eastern bound-
aries of Sections 5, 7, and 9, Block IV, Kaiwhata S.D., the
northern boundary of Section 9 aforesaid and its production
to the middle of the Kaiwhata River, down the middle of
that river to a point due east of the northmost corner of
Run 50, along a right line to that corner, along the
south-eastern and southern boundaries of Run 49 (including
the crossing of a road), the south-eastern boundaries
of Sections 1 and 2, Block IV, Wainuioru S.D., and the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of
the Kuamahanga Stream; thence generally north-westerly down
the middle of that stream to and along the southern and
western boundaries of Section 7, Westmere Settlement, its
production to the middle of Section 1, Block XIV, Otahoua S.D. to and along that
boundary, the western boundaries of Section 1, aforesaid and
Lots 3 and 2, D.P. 1569, the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2,
D.P. 22775, the south-eastern and north-western boundaries
of the land shown on Plan B/238 and down the middle
of the Pohatu Stream to its confluence with the Tauweru
River; thence down the middle of that river and up the
middle of the Ruamahanga and Waingawa Rivers and the
Aretc Stream to its northernmost source; thence due west
along a right line to the summit of the Tararu Range;
thence northerly along the summit of that range to Trig
Station I (Mount Dundas), and along a right line in the
direction 310° 30' from a point in line with the western boundary of Section 21,
Block XIV, Tararu S.D.; thence generally south-easterly
along a right line to that point, down the middle of the
Makakahi River to a point in line with the southern boundary
of Lot 1, D.P. 665, along the western and northern boundaries of that lot, the northern boundary of
Lot 3, D.P. 665, and its production to and along the
northern and eastern boundaries of Section 135, Block XIV,
Mangaone S.D., to a point in line with the northern boundary
of Section 140, Block XIV, Mangaone S.D., to and
along the northern and eastern boundaries of that section
and Section 173, Block XIV, Mangaone S.D., to a point
in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 2370,
and to and along that boundary to the western side of
Mangaoranga Road; thence southerly along that side to a
