The Motor Launch (Waiau River) Notice 1976—Fiordland National Park Board
PURSUANT to the Motor Launch Regulations 1962*, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport hereby give the following notice:

(a) This notice may be cited as the Motor Launch (Waiau River) Notice 1976.
(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette and shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the New Zealand Gazette. -
When adverse weather conditions preclude a landing or take off on Lake Manapouri, float planes shall be exempt from regulation 11 (a-d) of the Motor Launch Regulations 1962 within the area of waters described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of water of the Waiau River extending downstream from the navigation buoy on the reef end of the Lake Manapouri outlet to Home Creek.

Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby consents to the borrowing by the local authorities, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, of the whole or any part of the respective amounts specified in that Schedule.

Licensing the Northland Harbour Board to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Taipa River
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway, of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Northland Harbour Board (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the Taipa River as shown on plan marked M.D. (N) 231, and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Auckland, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a boat ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1976.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be 10 cents ($0.10) payable on demand; provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976
PURSUANT to the provisions of regulation 18 (3) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the following standard is declared suitable for the purposes of those regulations.
British Standard
BS 4343:1968 Industrial plugs, socket-outlets and couplers for a.c. and d.c. supplies (declared suitable, subject to the following conditions:
(i) That all single phase plugs, socket-outlets and couplers have the phase, neutral and earth pins marked to comply with regulation 100 (4) (a) (ii) and (b) of the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976).

The Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1976, No. 2
PURSUANT to the Overseas Investment Regulations 1974*, hereinafter referred to as “the regulations”, the Overseas Investment Commission hereby gives the following exemption.
NOTICE

Title—This notice may be cited as the Overseas Investment Exemption Notice 1976, No. 2.

Exemption of Transactions of Certain Overseas Persons from the Regulations—Every person that is a company within the meaning of the Companies Act 1955, and is an overseas person within the meaning of regulation 2 (1) of the regulations but which would not be an overseas person, if the shares in the company registered in the names of any of the persons, mentioned in the Schedule hereto, were held by persons who are not overseas persons except where the company in question is a subsidiary as defined in regulation 2 (2) of the regulations of one of the persons mentioned in the Schedule hereto, is hereby exempted from the application of the provisions of regulations 4 and 5 (2) in Part I and all of the provisions of Parts II and III of the regulations.

Exemption from Regulation 3 (1) (a) of Certain Borrowings Outside New Zealand—Every person being a body corporate incorporated in New Zealand or being an unincorporated body of persons (other than a partnership in which none of the partners is a body corporate incorporated in New Zealand) carrying on business in New Zealand or any person acting as a nominee for or on behalf of any such body corporate or unincorporated body is hereby exempted from the provisions of regulation 3 (1) (a) of the regulations in respect of borrowings for a term not exceeding a total of 12 months where the moneys borrowed are used exclusively for the purpose of financing the export of goods from New Zealand or the import of goods into New Zealand by the borrower.
