Setting Apart European Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the European land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place, Marae, and place of historical interest for the common use and benefit of Tamakaimoana subtribe of Tuhoe and the descendants of Rua Kenana.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land situated in Block VII, Ruatahuna Survey District, and described as follows:

2 Being that part of Maungapohatu block delineated in red on plan 1737, the said Maungapohatu block being European land containing 5905 acres 2 roods 0 perches, the title for which was constituted by the Maori Land Court on 11 December 1962 pursuant to section 435 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
