FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Upper Hutt City:

All the roads in that area bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the south-eastern side at Lane Street with the northern side of Wallaceville Road; thence easterly generally by a right line to the Gruickshank Trigonometrical Station; thence north-easterly generally by a right line to a point on the western side of Mangaroa Hill Road 800 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Parkes Line Road; thence north-easterly generally along that roadside to its intersection with the centre line of the Wellington-Masterton-Woodville Railway; thence easterly generally along the said railway centre line to the western portal of the Maoribank Railway Tunnel; thence northerly generally by a right line to a point on the southern side of the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) 2000 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Akatarawa Road; thence across the said highway at right angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence north-westerly generally by a right line to the eastern end of the northern side of Gillespies Road; thence westerly generally by a right line to a point on the western side of Akatarawa Road 140 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Gillespies Road; thence south-westerly generally by a right line to a point 500 metres due north of the northern end of Poplar Grove; thence due west by a right line to the western boundary of Upper Hutt City; thence northerly, easterly, southerly, westerly, and northerly generally along the boundary of Upper Hutt City to a point on the said boundary due south of the commencing point; thence by a right line to the commencing point.

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 50 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Henry Street to a point 2000 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Akatarawa Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Upper Hutt City:

Maymorn Road: from Plateau Road to a point 540 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said road from Plateau Road.

MacLaren Street.

Molloy Road.

Paton Street.

Plateau Road: from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 1880 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from the said highway.

THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Upper Hutt City:

No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne): from a point 50 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said highway from Henry Street to a point 480 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Akatarawa Road.

Approval for Use of Portable Traffic Signals

PURSUANT to regulation 18 (5) of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, the Minister of Transport hereby consents to the use of portable traffic signals designed by the Dunedin City Council at the places described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of traffic control, and conforming to the specifications for temporary traffic signals in New Zealand Standard 5431:1973 and subject to the conditions in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Dunedin City on Portobello Road at each end of any section less than 100 metres long which has been reduced to one-way traffic by road works necessary for the laying of a sewer.

Adequate advance warning signs are to be erected and maintained, and when the lights are not operating the advance warning signs and lights are to be covered.

The Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1975

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1975.

  2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1973, dated the 23rd day of October 1973†, and the Traffic (Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the 22nd day of May 1974†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* which relate to roads situated within Hastings City are hereby revoked.

Omahu Road: from a point 40 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from Stonycroft Street to the north-western boundary of Hastings City.

Portsmouth Road.

Wilson Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE
