Declaring Land in Southland Land District, Vested in the Southland Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Southland Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every education trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

Southland Land District—Southland County Lot 1, D.P. 4127, being part Section 19, Block VII, Wyndham Survey District: area, 855 square metres, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume 168, folio 123.

Pursuant to Section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a motorway.

The Maerewhenua Irrigation District Order 1975

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 274 of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. This order may be cited as the Maerewhenua Irrigation District Order 1975.
2. The Minister of Works and Development is hereby authorised to construct, maintain, and control the water-supply works described in the First Schedule hereto, to serve the district described in the Second Schedule hereto.
3. The area of land described in the Second Schedule is hereby constituted as an irrigation district to be known as the Maerewhenua Irrigation District (herein referred to as “the district”).
4. The basic charge which will be payable in respect of all irrigable land commanded by the proposed irrigation scheme shall be $7.08 per hectare reducible over the first six seasons of supply to the charges set out in the Third Schedule.
5. The water availability charge which shall be payable for all water supplied shall be $11.80 per roster hour reducible in the first six seasons of supply to the charges set out in the Third Schedule.
