IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, and in the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and its amendments:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Palmerston North City Council proposes under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf to execute certain public works, namely, to acquire further land in enlargement of the recreation reserve known as the Palmerston North Showgrounds, and for the purpose of that public work deems it expedient that all the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
