Licensing the Chatham Islands County Council to Occupy
a Site for a Wharf at Pitt Island, Chatham Islands
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen
John Conway of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of
powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license
and permit the Chatham Islands County Council (hereinafter
called the licensee, which term shall include its successors
or assigns unless the context requires a different construction)
to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the
sea at Pitt Island, Chatham Islands, as shown on plan
marked M.D. 6242 and deposited in the office of the Ministry
of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining
thereon a wharf as shown on the said plan, such licence to
be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the
terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDI TIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regula-
tions 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so
far as applicable apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 2 years from the
27th day of May 1975.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be
ten cents (10c) payable on demand; provided always that
the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end
of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato
Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1194 Ag. 61422)
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:
(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found-
(2) An area of 5 acres and 37 perches, or there-
abouts, situated north of and adjoining Mairehau
Road, Christchurch, in Block VIII of the Christ-
church Survey District, being part of Rural Section
1778, C.T. 626/171 (Canterbury Registry), previously
declared as (b) (i) in notice No. 1056.
This notice should be read together with notice No. 1056
dated 14 March 1975.

(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the
land described in paragraph (a) above being-
(i) An area of 3.7593 hectares, or thereabouts,
situated south of and with access to Halswell Junc-
tion Road, Halswell, in Block XIV of the Christ-
church Survey District, being part Lot 2 on Deposited
Plan 28354, C.T. 12K/724 (Canterbury Registry).

Notice Declaring Lands to be Infected Areas Under Potato
Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974 (No. 1196 Ag. 61422)
PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode
Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following
lands are declared to be infected areas:
(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been
found-
(i) An area of 8 acres 3 roods 5 perches, or there-
abouts, situated north-west of and adjoining the Main
North Road at Woodend, in Blocks XI and XII of
the Rangiora Survey District, being part of Rural
Section 1124 and being more particularly described
in conveyance Registered No. 130289 (208/302),
C.T. 390/182 (Canterbury Registry). The land use
restriction to apply to the area within glasshouse
No. 1 sited on the land described, being more
precisely an area of 90' X 20', situated 6 ft from
the Main North Road and 115 ft north-east from
the church property boundary.
(b) Other land within a radius of 80 kilometres of the
land described in paragraph (a) above being-
(i) An area of 4 acres 1 rood 15 perches, or
thereabouts, situated north-west of and with access
to the Main North Road at Woodend, in Block XI
of the Rangiora Survey District, being part of Rural
Section 1124, C.T. 499/169 (Canterbury Registry).

Bylaw Fixing the Maximum Speed of Vehicles on No. 80
State Highway (Pukaki-Hermitage) from 80 Metres East
of Glencoe Bridge to the Hermitage
PURSUANT to the National Roads Act 1953, and the Transport
Act 1962, the National Roads Board makes the following
bylaw.
BYLAW
- This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board
Bylaw 1975, No. 2. - This bylaw shall come into force on the day after the
date of its publication in the Gazette. - In this bylaw βvehicleβ has the meaning assigned to it
in the Transport Act 1962. - No person shall drive or take or permit to be driven
or taken any vehicle at a speed exceeding 30 kilometres per
hour upon or over No. 80 State Highway (Pukaki-Hermitage)
commencing from a point 80 metres east of the Glencoe
Bridge and extending generally towards the Hermitage for
a total distance of 560 metres. - Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw
is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $100. - National Roads Board Bylaw 1973, No. 2, is revoked.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a
meeting of the National Roads Board held in Wellington
on the 20th day of August 1975.
