The Road Classification (Southland County) Notice No. 1,
1975

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Southland County) Notice No. 1, 1975.
  2. The Southland County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.
  3. So much of the notice dated the 7th day of October 1965† which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND COUNTY ROAD CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE
Kapuka South Road: from State Highway 92 (Balclutha-Invercargill) to Hodgson Road.
Waituna Gorge Road: from State Highway 92 (Balclutha-Invercargill) to Kapuka South Road.
Waituna Lagoon Road: from Waituna Gorge Road to Hanson Road.

The Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 1, 1975

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (National Roads Board) Notice No. 1, 1975.
  2. It is hereby declared, as required by the National Roads Board, that the State highway as set out in the Schedule hereto shall belong to the class set out in the said Schedule.
  3. So much of the notice dated the 17th day of June 1965 as relates to the classification of the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

NATIONAL ROADS BOARD—ROAD CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE
No. 70 State Highway (Kaikoura-Culverden): from the western abutment of the Conway River Bridge (R.M. 26) to the southern abutment of the Lower Mason River Bridge (R.M. 47.85).

The Road Classification (Manukau City), Notice No. 1, 1975

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974*, the Secretary for Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Manukau City) Notice No. 1, 1975.

  2. The Manukau City Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the notice dated the 15th day of June 1973† which relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

MANUKAU CITY—ROADS CLASSIFIED IN CLASS ONE
Brampton Court.
Kiwi Street.
Portage Road: from Tidal Road to Selfs Road.
Tidal Road: from Massey Road to Portage Road.

Exemption to Allow Display of Blue Lamp in Terms of Traffic Regulations 1956*

PURSUANT to regulation 25A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts the vehicles specified in the Schedule hereto from the restriction imposed by regulation 34 (4) of the Traffic Regulations 1956 to allow those vehicles to display a blue lamp, provided the blue lamp displayed is only displayed while the vehicle is stationary at the scene of an emergency or simulated emergency.

SCHEDULE

VEHICLES authorised by the Fire Service Commission for use as control vehicles.

Assigning and Amending the Foreshore Licence Authorising the Waitemata County Council to Occupy a Site for a Boat Ramp at Hellyer’s Creek in Waitemata Harbour

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Owen John Conway of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 20 May 1971* authorising the Waitemata County Council to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of Hellyers Creek, in Waitemata Harbour, as a site for a boat ramp, is hereby assigned to the Takapuna City Council, and I further give notice that the licence is hereby amended by deleting condition 3 from the Schedule to the licence and substituting the following condition:
“(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be ten cents (10c) payable on demand; provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.”
