Land Proclaimed as Road and Road Closed and Vested in
Blocks V and VII, Maioro Survey District, Franklin
County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Franklin; and also pro-
claims that the road described in the Second Schedule hereto
is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in Reid
Dickson Crawford, of Waiuku, farmer.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Bay of Islands; and also
proclaims that the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto is hereby closed and shall, when so closed, vest in
John Bruce Harrison, of Opua, picture theatre proprietor,
subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 553428 and No.
063257.1, North Auckland Land Registry.

All that piece of land containing 749 square metres, situated
in Block V, Russell Survey District, and being part Allotment
201, Kawakawa Parish; marked "B" on plan.

All that piece of road containing 744 square metres situated
in Block V, Russell Survey District, adjoining or passing
through Allotment 201 and part Allotment 202, Kawakawa
Parish; marked "A" on plan.
As shown on plan S.O. 49756 lodged in the office of the
Chief Surveyor at Auckland and thereon marked as above
mentioned.

hereto to be a Government road; and
(b) Stops the said road.
