Land Proclaimed as Road, Road Closed, and Land Taken
and Vested in Block XIV, Titirangi Survey District, Franklin County

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Franklin; and also proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto; and also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29; also declares that the road secondly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Peter Robert Palmer, electrician, and Arthur Haldene Palmer, sheetmetal worker, both of Auckland, and that the road fourthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Katherine Ruth Palmer, of Auckland, married woman, and that the road eighthly, ninthly, tenthly, eleventhly, and twelfthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in David Rutherford Hubert Williams, of Papakura, stock agent, and that the road fifthly described in the said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in Mungo Ian Makgill, of Glenbrook, farmer, and that the road thirdly and sixthly described in the said Second Schedule and the land firstly, thirdly, and fourthly described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so closed and taken respectively, vest in the Orua Bay Land Company Limited, at Papakura, and that the road seventhly, thirteenthly, fourteenthly, fifteenthly, and sixteenthly described in the said Second Schedule and the land secondly described in the said Third Schedule shall, when so closed and taken respectively, vest in the Orua Bay Land Company Limited, at Papakura, subject to memorandum of mortgage A. 436541, North Auckland Land Registry.
