Exempting Certain Maori Land From Rates

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 1st day of
April 1975
Present:
THE HON. R. J. TIZARD PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 149 (1) of the Rating Act 1967, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby exempts
the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto
from the liability for the payment of rates, and pursuant to
section 149 (2) of the Rating Act 1967 hereby releases such
land from rates made and levied for the years 1 April 1972
to 31 March 1973, and 1 April 1973 to 31 March 1974.
