Revoking the Foreshore Licence Authorising the Waikato Valley Authority to Occupy a Site for a Revetment on the Waikato River at Meremere

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 18 March 1974*, authorising the Waikato Valley Authority to occupy a site for a revetment on the Waikato River at Meremere, is hereby revoked.

Amending the Foreshore Licence Authorising Lindsay Alfred Lord to Occupy a Site for a Ramp at Whalers Bay, Prices Inlet, Paterson Inlet, Stewart Island

Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the licence of 23 December 1974* authorising Lindsay Alfred Lord to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Whalers Bay, Prices Inlet, Paterson Inlet, Stewart Island, as a site for a ramp, is hereby amended by deleting from condition 3 of the schedule the expression "one hundred dollars ($100)" and substituting the expression "twenty dollars ($20)".

Licensing Teone Matenga Taiaroa to Occupy a Site for a Fish Landing Ramp at Kaik, Otago Harbour

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Teone Matenga Taiaroa (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include his administrators, executors, or assigns, unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea at Kaik, Otago Harbour, as shown on plan marked M.D. 8560 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a fish landing ramp as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the foreshore Licence Regulations 1960 and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.

(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the 1st day of November 1974.

(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be five dollars ($5) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be forty dollars ($40); provided always that the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the end of the first year or any subsequent year of the said term.

Licensing the Waikato Rowing Club (Incorporated) to Occupy a Site for a Wharf on the Waikato River

Pursuant to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit the Waikato Rowing Club Incorporated (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the bed of the Waikato River as shown on plan marked M.D. 8306 (Sheet No. 1), M.D. 421, and M.D. 15496 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf as shown on the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

Fixing the Ward Representation of the Central King Country Pest Destruction District (Notice No. 1074 Ag. 20891A)

Pursuant to section 33 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the Central King Country Pest Destruction Board hereby fixes the number of members to be elected for each ward of its district to be that specified opposite the name of each ward in the Schedule hereto.

garoga No. 4; thence generally easterly along the generally northern boundaries of Hauhungaroa No. 5 and Part 2C Blocks to the intersection of the last-mentioned boundary produced with the middle of the Waiwhaanga Stream; thence easterly generally down the middle of that stream and the middle of the Oruapuraho River to the shore of Lake Taupo; thence generally southerly along the generally western shore of Lake Taupo to and up the middle of the Tongariro River and the Waikato River to its source in Block XII, Ruapehu Survey District; thence westerly along a right line to Trig. Station H (Paretataitonga) in Block XI, Ruapahu Survey District; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station D (Ngauruhoe) in Block XVI, Tongariro Survey District, and along a right line to Trig. Station Tongariro in Block XII, Tongariro Survey District; thence generally north-westerly along a right line to the source of the Wanganui River and down the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

HUNUA WARD

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Taumarunui County and Taumarunui Borough, containing 1386 square kilometres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Ongarue and Wanganui Rivers in Block I, Hunua Survey District, being a point on the western boundary of the Meringa Ward as hereinbefore described and proceeding generally south-easterly along that boundary to Trig. Station Tongariro in Block XII, Tongariro Survey District, being a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Taumarunui County as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1967, page 1869; thence southerly and generally north-westerly and north-easterly along that boundary and the generally south-western and north-western boundaries of that county to a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the southern boundary of Section 12, Block VII, Retaruke Survey District, being a point on the south-eastern boundary of the Tokirima Ward as hereinbefore described; thence generally north-easterly along that boundary to the point of commencement.
