CONDITIONS APPLYING TO THE USE CATEGORIES SPECIFIED ABOVE ARE AS FOLLOWS:

(a) Insecticides for use in any part of any premises in which meat or meat products are processed, packed, or stored, provided that no meat or meat products, except canned meat or canned meat products, are present at the time of application of the insecticide.

(b) Insecticides for use in any part of any slaughtering place, meat-packing house, or cannery, which is not used for the purpose of processing, packing, or storing meat or meat products or exposed materials that are at any time likely to come into contact with meat or meat products.

(c) Insecticides for use in any yard or other premises attached to a slaughtering place, meat-packing house, or cannery, provided that no stock is contained in such yard or premises at the time of application of the insecticides.

Licensing the New Zealand Railways to Erect and Use Electric Lines

Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Electricity hereby licenses the New Zealand Railways, subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

  1. This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

  2. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, and shall be an alternating current system.

  3. This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the expiration of a period of 21 years from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply described proceeding as follows:

(a) From the New Zealand Railways “A” signal box and proceeding in a north-westerly direction by underground cable across Thorndon Quay to Dimond Building situated at 77–79 Thorndon Quay.

All being situated in Block VII, Port Nicholson S.D., City of Wellington, the said buildings and cable being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 909 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a scenic reserve, for the common use and benefit of the present owners of Tawaroa Topu Block and their descendants.

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated:

All persons who may be affected by this specification and who desire to comment thereon may, upon application, obtain a copy on loan from the Standards Association of New Zealand, World Trade Center, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
