NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN BLOCK V, IKITARA SURVEY DISTRICT, FOR ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for road the land described in the Schedules hereto, the land described in the First Schedule to be used to legalise the existing road known as Takarangi Street and the land described in the Second Schedule to be used to widen Takarangi Street and notice is hereby further given that the plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the office of Armstrong Barton & Co., Solicitors, 44 Drews Avenue, Wanganui, and are there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing. The first publication of this notice was on 4 December 1975.
