right angles from its southern to its northern side; thence
north-westerly generally along the western side of the right
of way fronting Ohope Beach to the northern end of the
said right of way; thence due east by a right line to the
shore of the Bay of Plenty; thence south-easterly generally
along the said shore to the mouth of the Maraetotara Stream;
then south-westerly generally along the eastern bank of the

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point
on the southern side of Wainui Road at the eastern end of
the bridge over the Maraetotara Stream; thence south-easterly
generally by a right line to the western end of Kowhai Street;
then easterly generally along the southern side of Kowhai
Street to the intersection of the said street with Wainui Road;
then across Wainui Road at right angles from its western
to its eastern side; then due north by a right line to the
southern side of Harbour Road; then easterly generally
along the said side of the said road to a point 160 metres
measured easterly generally along the said road from Anne
Street; then by a right line due north across Harbour Road
and Ocean Road to the shore of the Bay of Plenty; then
westerly generally along the said shore to the mouth of the
Maraetotara Stream; then south-westerly generally along the
eastern bank of the said stream to the starting point.

The Traffic (Mosgiel Borough and Taieri County) Notice
No. 2, 1975

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Mosgiel Borough and Taieri County) Notice No. 2, 1975.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The Traffic (Mosgiel Borough and Taieri County) Notice No. 1, 1975, dated the 26th day of March 1975†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Mosgiel Borough and Taieri County adjacent to Mosgiel Borough is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Mosgiel Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
Elizabeth Avenue.
Factory Road: from the north-eastern boundary of Mosgiel Borough to a point 160 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Rentons Road.
Gladstone Road: from the south-western boundary of Mosgiel Borough to a point 100 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said road from Cemetery Road.
Main South Road.
Quarry Road: from Main South Road to a point 50 metres measured northerly generally along Quarry Road from Main South Road.
Riccarton Road: from the north-western boundary of Mosgiel Borough to the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
