The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Labour Weekend in each year and ending with the Tuesday following Easter in the next ensuing year shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 50 kilometres an hour fixed by the said section.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Thames County) Notice 1952, dated the 12th day of June 1952†, and under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, and the Traffic (Thames County) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the 23rd day of January 1974‡, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956* which relate to portions of State Highway 36 and portions of State Highway 25, in Thames County are hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Thorntons Bay and Ngarimu Bay:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from Lockhart Place to a point 480 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Adams Road.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames Coromandel District at Te Mata:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 320 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the Te Mata River Bridge to a point 1320 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the said bridge.
At Tapu:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 45 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the Tapu-Coroglen Road to a point 720 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from the Tapu-Coroglen Road.
Tapu-Coroglen Road: from No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel) to a point 45 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from the said State highway.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Thames-Coromandel District at Thorntons Bay and Ngarimu Bay:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from Lockhart Place to a point 480 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Adams Road.
SITUATED within Thames Coromandel District at Waiomu Bay:
No. 25 State Highway (Pipiroa-Waihi via Coromandel): from a point 480 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Waiomu Road to a point 640 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from the said road.

The Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 2, 1975
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 2, 1975.

The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be a 70-kilometres-an-hour speed limit areas for the purpose of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, to the intent that a person driving any motor vehicle thereon at any time during the period commencing with the 20th day of December in each year and ending with the 10th day of February in the next ensuing year and the period commencing with the Thursday preceding Easter and ending with the Tuesday following Easter each year, shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of 70-kilometres-an-hour fixed by the said regulation.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rotorua County at Rotoiti:
No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane via Atiamuri): from a point 170 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the Waiiti Stream to a point 970 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said stream.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Rotorua County at Rotoma:
No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane via Atiamuri): from a point 170 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from the Waiiti Stream to a point 1130 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from the said stream and from a point 240 metres measured easterly generally along the said State highway from Wharetoroa Drive to a point 720 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Wharetoroa Drive.
SITUATED within Rotorua County at Rotoma:
No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti - Whakatane via Atiamuri): from a point 80 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said State highway from Oxford Road to a point 1450 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said State highway from the said road and from a point 2900 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Matahi Road to a point 480 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Matahi Road.
