ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ashley County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Rural Section 34744 in Block X, Grey Survey District, being a point on the south-western boundary of the Amberley Ward, hereinbefore described, and proceeding south-easterly generally along that boundary to the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence south-westerly generally along that mean high-water mark to the middle of the Ashley River; thence westerly generally up the middle of that river to the middle of the South Island main trunk railway in Block VI, Rangiora Survey District, a pcint on the north-eastern boundary of the Loburn Ward hereinbefore described; thence north-westerly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE RANGIORA WARD

westerly to and along that roadside to the eastern boundary of Rural Section 4286; thence southerly along that boundary and its production to the middle of Woodfields Road; thence westerly and north-westerly along the middle of Woodfields Road, Tram Road, and Eyre Road North and its production to the northern side of the Oxford-Rangiora Road (No. 72 S.H.); thence easterly along that roadside to the eastern boundary of Rural Section 4214; thence northerly along that boundary to the fence as delineated on Red Map 60; thence north-easterly along that fence to a point in line with the middle of the road forming the eastern boundary of Reserve 713; thence northerly to and along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Rural Section 10312; thence westerly to and along that boundary and northerly along the western boundary of that rural section and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of Glews Road; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of that road and Bennetts Road and its production to the middle of Dickinson Road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of that road, Carleton Road and Bowicks Road to the right bank of the Ashley River; thence due north to the middle of that river; thence easterly generally along the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE EYRE WARD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Eyre County and Borough of Kaiapoi, bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Kaiapoi and Waimakariri Rivers, being a point on the south-western boundary of the Rangiora Ward, hereinbefore described, and proceeding south-westerly generally up the middle of the Waimakariri River to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 37707 in Block IV, Hawkins Survey District; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 32083 to the north-eastern corner of that rural section; thence north-easterly along a right line between that corner and Trig. Station 48 in Block XIII, Mairaki Survey District, to the middle of Main Race Road; thence south-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 3211; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and the south-eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 32641 and 30062 to the southern side of Eyre Road South; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Rural Section 34754; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that rural section to the south-western side of Harewood Road; thence north-easterly along a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of Harewood Road in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 5, D.P. 8172; thence north-easterly to and along that boundary and the north-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 8172 to the north-western corner of that lot; thence north-easterly along a right line to the south-western corner of Rural Section 20235; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Rural Sections 20235, 40076, 37986, 13974, and 14620, and Reserve 1025 to the southern boundary of Rural Section 4643; thence easterly along that boundary and its production to the middle of Eyre Road North, being a point on the south-western boundary of the Rangiora Ward, hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly generally along that boundary to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE OXFORD WARD

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Oxford County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Waimakariri River in line with the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 37707 in Block IV, Hawkins Survey District, being a point on the north-western boundary of the Eyre Ward, hereinbefore described, and proceeding north-westerly generally up the middle of that river to a point due west of Trig. Station S (Black Hill) in Block IX, Upper Ashley Survey District; thence due east to that trig. station, being a point on the south-western boundary of the Mount Thomas Ward, hereinbefore described; thence south-easterly along that boundary to the north-western boundary of the Rangiora Ward, hereinbefore described; thence south-westerly along that boundary and the north-western boundary of the Eyre Ward, hereinbefore described, to the point of commencement.
