and proceeding north-easterly to and along the south-eastern
boundaries of Sections 12, 4, 2, and 3, Block VII, Retaruke
Survey District, along the production of the last-mentioned
boundary to the middle of a road, along the middle of the
road forming the generally western boundaries of Sections 3,
9, and 2, Block VIII, Retaruke Survey District, to a point
in line with the north-western boundary of the said Section 2,
to and along the north-western boundaries of the said
Section 2 and Sections 1 and 7, Block I, Kaitieke Survey
District, the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block I, Kaitieke
Survey District (including a right line across Kirikau Valley
Road), the southern boundary of Section 8, Block VII,
Hunua Survey District, and its production to the middle
of Kirikau Valley Road, along the middle of that road
to a point due west of the northernmost corner of Section 2,
Block II, Kaitieke Survey District, along a right line to
that corner, along the northern boundaries of the said
Section 2, and the western boundary of Section 4, Block IX,
Hunua Survey District, to the south-eastern side of Te Maire
Valley Road and along a right line due north to the generally
southern boundary of Section 7, Block VIII, Hunua Survey
District; thence north-westerly along the generally southern

up the middle of that river to its confluence with the middle
of the Ongarue River; thence generally easterly along the
boundaries of the Borough of Taumarunui as described in New
Zealand Gazette, 1972, page 1657, to a point on the production
of the north-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block II, Hunua
Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along that
production to the left bank of the Wanganui River and along
the boundaries of the Borough of Taumarunui, aforesaid, to
the left bank of the Wanganui River and along a right line
due east to the middle of the said river; thence up the
middle of the Wanganui River to its source and along a
right line to Trig. Station Tongariro; thence generally south-
westerly, westerly and north-easterly along the boundaries
of the County of Taumarunui as described in New Zealand
Gazette, 1967, page 1869, to the point of commencement.

WEST RIDING

ALL that area in the Taranaki and Wellington Land Districts,
Taumarunui County, bounded by a line commencing at a
point on the confiscation line in the middle of the Waitaanga
Stream situated in Block VII, Waro Survey District being
a point on the boundary of the said county as described
in New Zealand Gazette, 1967, page 1869, and proceeding
generally easterly along the generally southern boundary of
North Riding as hereinbefore described, the generally southern
boundaries of Ohura Town District and the boundary of
North Riding, aforesaid, to and generally southerly along
the generally western boundary of East Riding as herein-
before described and the generally western boundary of
Taumarunui Borough as described in New Zealand Gazette,
1972, page 1657, to and generally south-westerly along the
generally north-western boundary of South Riding as herein-
before described, to and generally north-westerly along the
generally south-western boundary of Taumarunui County,
aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

tion Act 1967, the Selwyn Pest Destruction Board hereby
gives notice that the Selwyn Pest Destruction District which
was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of
April 1974* is hereby divided into wards, the names and

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, Ellesmere
and Malvern Counties, containing 132 735 hectares (328,000
acres), more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a
point in the middle of the Rakaia River in line with the
north-western boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 17908, in Block VII,
Fighting Hill Survey District, and proceeding north-easterly
to and along that boundary to the southernmost corner of
Reserve 2577; thence north-westerly generally along the south-
western boundary of Reserve 2577, the abutment of a road,
and the south-western boundaries of Lot 8, D.P. 3317, and
Lots 33 and 32, D.P. 3588, to the westernmost corner of
the last-mentioned Lot; thence north-easterly along the north-
western boundary of the said Lot 32 to and along the south-

and Malvern Counties containing 180 890 hectares (447,000
acres) more or less, bounded by a line commencing at
the intersection of the summit of the Main Divide and the
northern boundary of Block VI, Davie Survey District, and
proceeding due east along the northern boundaries of that
