CANCELLING THE RESERVATION OF MAORI FREEHOLD LAND
NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (b) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the reservation of the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto and set apart for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Rangiwewehi subtribe and the Maori people generally, made by Order in Council of 23 December 1966 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 January 1967, No. 1, p. 3, is hereby cancelled.

ALL that piece of land situated in Block XII, Rotorua Survey District, and described as follows:

SETTING APART MAORI FREEHOLD LAND AS A MAORI RESERVATION
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place for the common use and benefit of Ngati Rangiwewehi subtribe and the Maori people generally.

SPECIAL ORDER MADE BY TAUMARUNUI COUNTY COUNCIL ALTERING RIDING BOUNDARIES
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Local Government hereby publishes the following special order made by the Taumarunui County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Taumarunui County Council resolves by way of special order as follows.
(1) The present division of the County of Taumarunui into 10 ridings is revoked and in lieu thereof the said county shall be divided into 4 ridings to be called respectively North, East, South, and West, which said ridings are respectively described in the Schedule hereto.
(2) The said Taumarunui County Council shall consist of 12 members who shall be elected as follows:
(a) The electors of the North and South riding shall each elect 3 members.
(b) The electors of the West riding shall elect 2 members.
(c) The electors of the East riding shall elect 4 members.
(3) The alteration hereby made shall take effect from the day of the general election, being 12 October 1974, except insofar and to such extent as may be necessary for providing for that election.
SCHEDULE
NORTH RIDING
ALL that area in the Taranaki and South Auckland Land Districts, Taumarunui County, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the boundary of the said county as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1967, page 1869, being the intersection of the confiscation line with the middle of the Waitaanga Stream in Block VII, Waro Survey District, and proceeding generally westerly, northerly, and north-easterly along the said County boundary to the eastern boundary of Waihaha 3A Block situated in Block XII, Hurakia Survey District; thence generally south-easterly and northerly along the said boundary, the south-eastern boundaries of the said 3A and Waihaha 2 and Part I Blocks and the generally western boundaries of the said Part I and the western boundary of Rangitoto Tuhua 21A Block to the southern boundary of Section 3, Block I, Puketapu Survey District; thence generally westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 3 and Section 8, Block IV, Tuhua Survey District, the end of a public road and the generally southern boundaries of Sections 11, 10, and 9 of the said Block IV, to the western boundary of the said Section 9; thence northerly along that boundary to the southern side of a public road; thence generally northwesterly along that side to the north-western boundary of Section 3 of the said Block IV; thence generally north-westerly along the said boundary and the northern boundary of that Section to and along the south-western and western boundaries of Lot 6, D.P. 14777, to a point in line with the southern boundary of Rangitoto Tuhua 76B5 Block; thence generally westerly along that boundary and the generally southern boundaries of Rangitoto Tuhua 76B8B2E and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Ongarue River; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of part Section 15, Block II, Rangi Survey District; thence westerly to and along the southern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of State Highway No. 4; thence along the middle of that road to and westerly generally along the middle of the Opotiki Road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 1, Block I, Rangi Survey District; thence southerly to and along that boundary to the northern boundary of Block III, Rangi Survey District; thence westerly along that boundary and the northern boundary of Block VIII, Ohura Survey District, to the eastern boundary of Section 8, Block IV, Ohura Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern boundary of that section to and southerly along its western boundary and its production to the middle of Ararimu Road; thence westerly generally along the middle of that road to a point in line with the southern boundary of Section 2, Block VII, Ohura Survey District; thence again generally westerly to and along the southern boundary of that section and the southern boundary of Section 4, Block VII, aforesaid, to the north-western boundary of Section 6 of the said Block VII; thence south-westerly along that boundary to and across Turoto Road, to and along the north-western boundary of part Section 3, Block VII, Ohura Survey District, across Waiora Road, to and generally southerly along the western boundary of that section, the western boundary of Section 13, Block VII, aforesaid, again along the western boundary of the said part Section 3, to and along the western boundary of Subdivision 1 of Section 8 of the said Block VII to the Turoto Road; thence southerly along the western side of that road and its production to the middle of the Ohura River; thence westerly generally up the middle of that river to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 4S, Huia Settlement; thence southerly across Kopuha Road to and along the eastern boundary of that section to and westerly along its southern boundary to Huia Road; thence westerly generally along the northern side of that road to the boundary of the Ohura Town District; thence north-westerly and south-westerly generally along that town district boundary to the middle of Mangaparare Road; thence south-westerly generally along the middle of that road to the western boundary of Subdivision 1 of Section 1, Block V, Ohura Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundary of that subdivision, to and westerly and southerly along the northern and western boundaries of Subdivision 2 of Subsection 2 of Section 10 of the said Block V, to and westerly along the northern boundary of Block XII, Waro Survey District, to the confiscation line; thence westerly along that line to the point of commencement.
EAST RIDING
ALL that area in the South Auckland and Wellington Land Districts, Taumarunui County, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Ongarue River in line
