(1) This order may be cited as the Banks Peninsula Hydatids Control District Order 1974.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. -
The areas comprising the Counties of Wairewa, Akaroa, Heathcote, and Mount Herbert, and the Borough of Lyttelton as from time to time constituted are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Banks Peninsula Hydatids Control District.

The Banks Peninsula Hydatids Control Committee is hereby appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the Banks Peninsula Hydatids Control District.

Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Onehunga Appointed
PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Onehunga for the term of one year expiring 31st day of May 1975.
Huia Derham McAven, Chairman;
Cecil Porter Smith, Deputy Chairman;
Eric Charles Buscke, Thomas Patrick Monaghan and Jack Kitson Thomas (nominated by the New Zealand Port Employers' Association (Incorporated)); and
Ivan Claude Cunningham, Warwick Arthur Davies, and Arthur Gallagher (nominated by the Onehunga Port Workers' Industrial Union of Workers).
