The Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 1 1974

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purpose of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956.*

4. The Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 2, 1971†, dated 3rd day of August 1971 under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to the road in Hokianga County at Opononi, is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Situated within Hokianga County at Opononi and Omapere:

No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai - Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from a point 1.97 kilometres measured northerly generally along the said state highway from Kokohuia Road to a point 2.46 kilometres measured northerly generally along the said state highway from Kokohuia Road and from a point 1.09 kilometres measured southerly generally along the said state highway from Kokohuia Road to a point 320 metres measured northerly generally along the said state highway from Signal Station Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Situated within Hokianga County at Opononi and Omapere:

No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from a point 1.09 kilometres measured southerly generally along the said state highway from Kokohuia Road to a point 1.97 kilometres measured northerly generally along the said state highway from Kokohuia Road.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The Notice under regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 12th day of June 1958†, which relates to roads situated within Franklin County is hereby revoked.

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Ashley County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 23rd day of November 1966†, which relates to roads in Ashley County at Amberley is hereby revoked.

Douglas Road: from No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 60 metres measured northwesterly generally along Douglas Road from Lawcocks Road.

Gilbert Street: north and south of Amberley Railway Station.
