easterly generally along Russley Road from No. 73 State
Highway (Christchurch-Kumara) to a point 120 metres

The Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 1, 1974
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Piako County)
   Notice No. 1, 1974.
2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
   declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the
   purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
3. The notice dated the 2nd day of February 1965† under
   regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates
   to roads situated within Piako County at Manawaru, is
   hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Piako County at Manawaru:
Shaftesbury Road: from Stanley Road to a point
280 metres measured north-easterly generally along Shaftes-
bury Road from Stanley Road.
Stanley Road: from a point 140 metres measured north-
westerly generally along the said road from School Road to
a point, 60 metres measured, south-easterly generally along
Stanley Road from Shaftesbury Road.

The Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 1, 1974
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waitemata
   County) Notice No. 1, 1974.
2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are
   hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the
   purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The road specified in the Second Schedule is hereby
   declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the
   purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
4. So much of the Traffic (Waitemata County) Notice No. 4
   1970, dated the 14th day of December 1970 under section 52
   of the Transport Act 1962, and regulations 27 and 27A of
   the Traffic Regulations 1956†, which relates to roads at
   Whangaparaoa in the Third Schedule thereto is hereby
   revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Waitemata County at Whangaparaoa:
All that area of Whangaparaoa Peninsula, with the excep-
tion of Whangaparaoa Road, bounded by a line commencing
at a point on the north-eastern side of Whangaparaoa Road
at its intersection with Viponds Road; thence north-easterly
by a right line to a point on the northern shore of the
said peninsula; thence easterly generally along the said shore-
line to a point due west of the western end of Roberts
Road; thence due east by a right line to the junction of
Whangaparaoa Road and Roberts Road; thence south-
easterly generally by a right line to a point on the shoreline
of Whangaparaoa Peninsula at the eastern end of Matakaitia
Parade; thence westerly generally along the said shoreline
to a point due south of the intersection of D'Oyly Drive
with Whangaparaoa Road: thence due north by a right
line to a point on the south-western side of Whangaparaoa
Road opposite the north-western side of D'Oyly Drive; thence
across Whangaparaoa Road at right angles from its south-
western side to its north-eastern side: thence north-westerly
generally along the said side of the said road to its inter-
section with Viponds Road; thence by a right line across
Viponds Road to the commencing point.
Whangaparaoa Road: from Stanmore Bay Road to Roberts
Road and from a point 720 metres measured westerly
generally along Whangaparaoa Road from Matuketekete
Avenue to a point 200 metres measured easterly generally
along Whangaparaoa Road from Everard Avenue.
