Notice Declaring Quarantine Area at Trentham (No. 787 Ag.
70072)
NOTICE is hereby given that, for the purposes of detention
of imported horses under the Animals Act 1967, that the
land and premises of Wrightson N.M.A. Limited and Pyne
Gould Guinness Limited Sale Grounds situated at the northern
end of Racecourse Road, Trentham, comprising approximately
two and a half acres and known as “J and K Block” is
hereby declared to be a quarantine area from the date of
this notice to 8 September 1974.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Mount Maunganui
Oxidation Pond Reclamation
THE Commission for the Environment gives notice that it
has received an environmental impact report on the pro-
v vision of a reclamation for oxidation ponds at Mount
Maunganui. Representations in writing on the environmental
aspects of the project, as it is explained in the report, will
be received at the office of the Commission, P.O. Box 12-042,
Wellington until Friday, 9 August 1974.
Copies of the report may be purchased at the office of
the Mount Maunganui Borough Council, 227 Maunganui
Road, Mount Maunganui, or seen at the public library at
Tauranga, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, or Dunedin,
or at the libraries of the seven university institutions.

Special Order Made by Hauraki Plains County Council
Altering Ngatea Riding Boundary
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, the
Secretary for Local Government hereby publishes the follow-
ing Special Order made by the Hauraki Plains County
Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
THAT in exercise of the powers conferred on it by
sections 23 and 58 of the Counties Act 1956, the Hauraki
Plains County Council resolves by way of Special Order
as follows:
-
The present riding of the County of Hauraki Plains,
known as the Ngatea Riding, is revoked and in lieu thereof
a riding to be known as Ngatea Riding and described in
Schedule One annexed hereto. -
The electors of the riding shall elect 1 councillor.

The alteration hereby made shall take effect at the next
general election of councillors to be held in the month
of October 1974, except in so far and to such extent as
may be necessary for preparing any roll or otherwise providing
for that election. -
That the resolution passed by way of Special Order
be confirmed at the ordinary meeting of council to be held
on Wednesday, the 8th day of May 1974.
SCHEDULE ONE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, in
Hauraki Plains County, bounded by a line commencing
at a point in the middle of the Maukoro Canal in line with
the north-western boundary of Section 50, Block IX, Waihou
Survey District, and proceeding generally north-westerly along
the middle of that canal to a point in line with the north-
western boundary of Section 50, Block IV, Piako Survey
District; thence generally north-easterly to and along that
boundary and the north-western boundary of Section 69
in the said Block IV, to the western side of Central Road;
thence along a right line to and along the north-western
boundary of Section 51, Block IV, Piako Survey District
and its production to the middle of Pouarua Road; thence
generally northerly along the middle of that road to a
point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P.
36372 in Block X, Wharekawa Survey District; thence
generally easterly to and along that boundary and northerly
and easterly along the western and northern boundaries of
Lot 3, D.P. 36372 in the said Block X, and generally easterly
along the northern boundary of Section 43, Block X, Thames
Survey District, and its production to the middle of No. 2
State Highway; thence northerly along the middle of that
highway to a point in line with the northern boundary of
Lot 5, D.P. 21697 in Block X, Thames Survey District;
thence generally easterly to and along that boundary and
the northern boundaries of Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27,
Block X, Thames Survey District, and the production of
the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Piako
River; thence generally southerly up the middle of that
river to a point in line with the northern boundary of
Lot 1, D.P. 16786; thence generally easterly to and along
that boundary and the northern boundaries of Lots 2-12,
D.P. 16786, and the generally southern boundary of part
Lot 2, D.P. 16785 to a point in line with the eastern boundary
of Lot 2, D.P. S. 1721; thence southerly to and along
that boundary to the northern boundary of part Lot 1,
D.P. S. 810; thence westerly along that boundary to the south-
western corner of Lot 11, D.P. S. 1721; thence westerly
along a right line to and along the southern boundary of
Section 21, Block II, Waihou Survey District, and its produc-
tion to the middle of the Piako River; thence southerly up
the middle of that river to a point in Block X, Waihou
Survey District, at the northern end of the Waikaka Cut, in
line with the middle line of that cut; thence generally south-
westerly along a right line to and along the north-western
boundaries of Sections 18 and 19, part Section 20, Lot 1,
D.P. S. 10461 and Section 50, all in Block IX, Waihou
Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned
boundary to the point of commencement.

I, Peter George Lee Wildbore, Clerk of the Hauraki
Plains County Council do hereby certify that the above
Special Order was made at a special meeting of the said
council held for that purpose in the council chambers, Ngatea,
on the 22nd day of March 1974, and confirmed, sealed, and
signed at the ordinary meeting of the said council, held on
the 8th day of May 1974, and that the said Special Order
was duly made in conformity with the Counties Act 1956,
and amendments thereto.

The Transport (Waybill Exemption) Notice (No. 3) 1974

Pursuant to section 109A of the Transport Act 1962,
the Secretary for Transport hereby exempts from the require-
ments of that section heavy motor vehicles carrying only
the goods described in the Schedule hereto. -
The Transport (Waybill Exemption) Notice (No. 2)
1974*, is hereby revoked.
SCHEDULE
Goods
Goods carried by the owner in his own motor vehicle that
are intended for the use of the owner and not for resale
or disposition of any kind to any other person.

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers,
of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated
by the Minister of Transport, hereby give notice that the
licence of 22 May 1968* authorising the Manawatu Marine
Boating Club Inc. to use and occupy a part of the fore-
shore and bed of the Manawatu River at Foxton as a site
for a boat ramp is hereby amended by inserting the words
