A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the generation of electricity.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Ngauranga-Basin Reserve Motorway.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 215 square metres situated in Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington, being part Section 141, Town of Wellington; as shown on plan M.O.W. 27967 (S.O. 30252) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, being satisfied that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been vested in the Crown, hereby declare the said land to be Crown land.

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Police Offences Act 1927, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the use of the word "National" as set out in the Schedule hereto.

In the title "The New Zealand National Archery Championships."

The Hutt Valley Electric Power District Representation Order 1974

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 24th day of June 1974

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (i) This order may be cited as the Hutt Valley Electric Power District Representation Order 1974.
    (ii) This order shall come into force on the date of the next general election of members of local authorities.

  2. The constituent districts of the Hutt Valley Electric Power District, which are bracketed together in the first column of the Schedule hereto, shall be combined districts for the purposes of the said Act.

  3. The local authority of the constituent district distinguished in the first column of the Schedule by the letter "(P)" shall be the principal local authority of the combined district of which it forms a part.

  4. The number of representatives of each constituent district or combined district of the Hutt Valley Electric Power District on the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of that constituent district or combined district.

  5. The Order in Council apportioning representation on the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board dated the 1st day of September 1965, and published in the Gazette on the 9th day of September 1965, on p. 1500, is hereby revoked.
