State Forest Land Set Apart as State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 63A (1) (a) of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as a State forest park to be known as Lake Sumner State Forest Park.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the appointment of the Assistant Conservator of Forests, New Zealand Forest Service, Christchurch, to the South Canterbury Catchment Board and hereby appoints the person holding the office of Principal Ranger, New Zealand Forest Service, Christchurch, to be a member of the South Canterbury Catchment Board from and after the 1st day of July 1974.
