As all those portions of the roadway are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 35856 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington.

This bylaw shall come into effect on the date of its publication in the Gazette.

Every person committing a breach of this bylaw is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100).

SCHEDULE

THE roadway generally situated to the rear of Broadcasting House and the Bowen State Building in the city of Wellington running generally from east to west from a point near the rear of the grounds to Parliament Buildings towards the Charles Fergusson Building, the eastern end of the roadway linking with Museum Street, and the western end linking with Sydney Street West.

Dated at Wellington this 21st day of June 1974.

Bylaw Regulating the Direction of the Flow of Traffic Into and Along a Roadway Linking Museum Street and Sydney Street West in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 72 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Works and Development, having control of the roadway described in the Schedule hereby, limits the movement of vehicles along that roadway as follows:

  1. Traffic entering the roadway from the Sydney Street West end may travel in both directions thereon, provided that no vehicle may proceed beyond the 'No Entry' signs erected towards the Museum Street end of that roadway.

  2. No vehicle having entered the roadway at the Museum Street end may make a 'U' turn between the 'One Way' signs erected at the Museum Street end of the roadway and the 'No Entry' sign stopping through traffic from the opposite end of the one way section, or reverse towards the Museum Street end, or in any other way exit from the roadway into Museum Street.

Notice of Intention to Take Land and an Interest in Land in Block III, Kapiti Survey District and Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District, Hutt County, for State Housing Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the First Schedule hereto and the interest in the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, held by Albert Scaife, of Paraparaumu, farmer, under and by virtue of deferred payment licence No. F78, recorded in register book, Volume 582, folio 55, Wellington Land Registry, for State housing purposes, such land to be used for State housing purposes as defined in the Housing Act 1955. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the Paraparaumu Beach post office and is there open for inspection; that all persons directly affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make a written objection and send it within

40 days after the first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

As shown on plan M.O.W. 27957 (W.D.O. 38648) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

The pieces of land concerned are located at Paraparaumu. The land contained in certificate of title, Volume 782, folio 74, above mentioned has a 12 chain frontage onto the north-eastern side of Kapiti Road commencing approximately 10 chains north-west of the Paraparaumu airport terminal building and having a depth of 56 chains.

The land contained in certificate of title, Volume 606, folio 131 above mentioned fronts onto the north-eastern side of Soldiers Road having a frontage of 4Β½ chains extend-
