FIRST SCHEDULE

All the roads, except No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff)
within the area adjacent to Christchurch City and Riccarton
Borough, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection
of the western boundary of Christchurch City with the
south-western boundary of Waimairi County and proceeding
north-erly and north-westerly generally along the boundary
of Waimairi County to a point in line with the north-
westerly side of Racecourse Road; thence north-easterly
generally on the projection of the north-western side across
No. 73 State Highway (Christchurch-Kumara) to the north-
eastern side of that highway; thence northerly generally
along that roadside across Withells Road, Cutts Road and
Fovant Street to the south-western side of Russley Road;
thence north-easterly generally along that roadside across
Dinton Street and Bentley Street to a point 120 metres
measured south-westerly generally along the said roadside
from Ryans Road; thence north-easterly generally by a right
line to a point on the south-western side of Avonhead Road,
360 metres measured, north-westerly along that roadside from
Hawthornden Road; thence north-easterly generally across
Avonhead Road from its south-western side to its north-
eastern side; thence south-easterly generally along that road-
side to the north-western side of Roydvale Avenue; thence
north-easterly generally along that roadside to the south-
westerly side of Memorial Avenue; thence south-easterly
generally along that roadside across Roydvale Avenue to
a point 20 metres measured north-westerly generally along
the said roadside from Grahams Road; thence north-easterly
generally along that roadside across Wooldridge Road to
south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-
westerly generally along that roadside across Kendall Avenue
and Roydvale Avenue to the north-western side of Roydvale
Avenue; thence north-easterly along that roadside to the
southern side of Wairakei Road; thence westerly generally
along that roadside to a point, 100 metres measured, westerly
generally along that said roadside from Roydvale Avenue;
thence northerly generally across Wairakei Road at right
angles to its southern side to its northern side; thence easterly
generally along that roadside across Wooldridge Road to
the eastern side of Wooldridge Road; thence north-easterly
generally by a right line to a point on the south-western
side of Harewood Road, 120 metres measured, north-westerly
generally along that roadside from Crofton Road; thence
north-easterly generally across Harewood Road at right angles
to its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence
south-easterly generally along that roadside to the north-
westerly side of Crofton Road; thence north-easterly generally
along that roadside to the south-western side of Sawyers
Arms Road; thence south-easterly generally along that road-
side across Crofton Road to the north-western side of
Gardinners Road; thence north-easterly generally across Sawyers
Arms Road, at right angles to its south-western side, to its
north-eastern side; thence south-easterly generally along that
roadside across Gardinners Road to a point 160 metres
measured north-westerly generally along the said roadside
from Highsted Road; thence north-easterly generally by a
right line to a point on the south-western side of Claridges
Road 160 metres measured north-westerly generally along
that roadside from Highsted Road; thence north-easterly
generally across Claridges Road, at right angles to its south-
westerly side, to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly
generally along that roadside across Highsted Road to the
western side of Grampian Street; thence northerly and
easterly, generally along the western and northern side of
Grampian Street to the western side of Cavendish Road;

in line with the northern side of Barnes Road; thence easterly
generally across Cavendish Road at right angles to its western

a right line to the intersection of the western side of No. 1
State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) and the southern side of
Styx Mill Road; thence north-easterly generally across the
said highway to the intersection of the eastern side of the
said highway and the northern side of Cunliffe Road;
thence easterly generally along that roadside across the Addington-
Picton railway line to the northern side of Farquhars Road;
thence easterly generally along that roadside to the western
side of Grimseys Road; thence east-erly generally across
Grimseys Road, at right angles to its western side, to its
eastern side; thence southerly generally along that roadside
across Prestons Road to the northern side of Winters Road;
thence easterly generally along that roadside to a point
in line with the eastern side of Philpotts Road; thence
southerly generally across Winters Road to the eastern side
of Philpotts Road; thence southerly generally along that
roadside to the northern boundary of Christchurch City;
thence westerly and southerly generally along the northern
and western boundaries of Christchurch City to the northern
boundary of Riccarton Borough; thence westerly, southerly
and easterly generally along the northern, western, and
southern boundaries of Riccarton Borough to the western
boundary of Christchurch City; thence southerly and westerly
generally along the boundary of Christchurch City to the
commencing point.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): the section known
as Cranford Street, from a point 1040 metres measured
north-westerly generally along the said highway from
McFaddens Road to the eastern boundary of Christchurch
City.

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): the section known
as Main North Road, from the northern boundary of Christ-
church City to the Styx River just north of Styx Mill Road.

No. 1 State Highway (Aawnui-Bluff): the section known
as Blenheim Road, from a point 40 metres measured westerly
generally along the said highway from Matipo Street to
the western boundary of Riccarton Borough.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): the section known
as Cranford Street, from a point 240 metres measured north-
westerly generally along the said highway from McFaddens
Road to a point 1,040 metres measured north-westerly
generally along the said highway from McFaddens Road.

THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Waimairi County:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): the section known
as Blenheim Road, from the eastern boundary of Paparua
County to a point 40 metres measured westerly generally
along the said highway from Matipo Street.

Harewood Road: from Russley Road to a point 120 metres
measured north-westerly generally along Harewood Road
from Crofton Road.

Memorial Avenue: from a point 20 metres measured north-
westerly generally along Memorial Avenue from Grahams
Road to a point 560 metres measured south-easterly generally
along the said Avenue from Russley Road.

Sawyers Arms Road: from Gardiners Road to a point
320 metres measured south-easterly generally along Sawyers
Arms Road from Johns Road.

Wooldridge Road.

The Traffic (Levels County) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Ministry of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1.This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Levels County)
Notice No. 1, 1974.

2.The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a closely populated locality for the purposes
of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Levels County at Seadown:

Seadown Settlement Road: from Headleys Road to a point
50 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said
road from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff).
