The Traffic (Wairoa County) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Wairoa County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

  2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The notice under the Transport Act 1949, and the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 26th day of June 1959†, which relates to roads situated in Wairoa County at Opoutama is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Wairoa County at Opoutama:

Old Main Road.

Opoutama Road: from a point 50 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Ormond Drive to a point 50 metres measured southerly generally along the said road from its southern intersection with Old Main Road.

Ormond Drive: from Opoutama Road to a point 160 metres measured easterly generally along the said drive from the said road.

The Traffic (Dunedin City and Green Island Borough) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Dunedin City and Green Island Borough) Notice No. 1, 1974.

  2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

  3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

  4. The Traffic (Dunedin City) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 4th day of November 1971† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulations 27 and 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated in Dunedin City and Green Island Borough is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED in Dunedin City and Green Island Borough:

Kaikorai Valley Road: from Ensor Street to a point 360 metres measured southerly generally along Kaikorai Valley Road from Barr Street.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED in Dunedin City and Green Island Borough:

Kaikorai Valley Road: from Ensor Street to a point 360 metres measured southerly generally along Kaikorai Valley Road from Barr Street.

The Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 2, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hokianga County) Notice No. 2, 1974.

  2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Hokianga County at Panguru:

West Coast Road: from a point 160 metres measured southerly generally along the said road from Tautora Road to a point 640 metres measured northerly generally along West Coast Road from Tautora Road.

Hauraki Gulf Transport Improvement Committee—Amendment

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

The notice dated 29 November 1973, appointing the Hauraki Gulf Transport Improvement Committee* is hereby amended by revoking clause 6 and substituting the following new clause:

"6. The Committee shall submit its report and recommendations to the Minister of Transport not later than the 31st day of August 1974".
