Anniversary Day for Northland Appointed

Pursuant to section 5 of the New Zealand Day Act 1973,
the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby appoints 29 January
to be a public holiday in Northland (being that portion
of the North Island north of the southern boundary for
the time being of Otamatea County) as the anniversary
day of Northland, except that for 1974 only 5 August is
hereby declared to be a public holiday in Northland in
place of an anniversary day.
