middle of the Pelorus River to its source; then south-easterly along the watershed between the Pelorus and Lee Rivers approximately 60 chains to Ada Flat in Block XIV, Pine Valley Survey District; then south-westerly along the summit of the range being the northern watershed of the Wairau River to Wards Pass in Block VII, Patriarch Survey District; then south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station Top 2, in Block III, Raglan Survey District; then south-easterly along a right line between Trig. Station Top 2 and Barefell Pass in Block IV, Barefell Survey District. to its intersection with the southern side of No. 63 State Highway; then westerly along the southern side of that Highway to the south-eastern boundary of Part Section 6, Square 34, in Block XV, Motupiko Survey District; then north-easterly and south-easterly along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said part Section 6 to the south-eastern boundary of Section 11, Block XIV, Motupiko Survey District; then generally southerly along the summit of the St. Arnaud Range through St. Arnaud Trig., the Camel Mount Cotteral, Mount MacKay, and Belvedere Peak to Mount Dora on the boundary of Block XIII, Rainbow Survey District; then north-easterly along the watershed between the Rainbow and Wairau Rivers to the saddle near the source of Canon Creek; then easterly generally down a ridge by right lines bearing 79 degrees for 26 chains, 145 degrees for 54 chains, 157 degrees for 55 chains, 96 degrees for 60 chains, and 48 degrees for 90 chains to a point on the left bank of the Wairau River approximately 184 chains south of Judges Creek; then due east across the Wairau River to the north-eastern boundary of Run 226 in Block XXIII, Molesworth Survey District; then generally north-easterly and south-easterly along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Run 226 to Trig. Station St. Bernard on the summit of the Inland Kaikoura Range in Block VI, Tone Survey District; then generally north-easterly along the summit of the said range to Mitre Peak in Block IX, Tapuaenuku Survey District; then generally easterly along the said summit for a distance of approximately 38 chains to the south-eastern corner of a road; then along a right line bearing 60 degrees true for a distance of approximately 215 chains to a point on the summit of the said Inland Kaikoura Range, known as the Pinnacles; then north-easterly along the summit of the said range to Trig. Station F in Block VII, Tapuaenuku Survey District; then generally easterly along the northern boundaries of part Section 1, Block VII, and part Section 1, Block VIII, of the said district to Trig. Station B in the said Block VIII; then generally north-easterly and easterly along the north-western boundaries of the said part Section 1, Block VIII, and part Section 1, Block VI, Whernside Survey District, and the northern boundaries of the said part Section 1, Block VI, part Section 1 of Section 9, Block VII, Whernside Survey District, Section 90, Mead Hill Run Clarence Registration District, and Section 10, Block III, Whernside Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the said Section 10; then south-easterly, north-easterly, and northerly along the south-western, south-eastern, and eastern boundaries of part Lot 6, D.P. 346, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the right bank of the Waima River in Block III, Whernside Survey District; then generally north-easterly along the said right bank to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 14, Block IV, Whernside Survey District; then southerly to, and generally southerly, south-easterly, and north-easterly along the western, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of Section 14, aforesaid, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the right bank of the Waima River; then due north to the left bank of the said river; then easterly along the said left bank to the right bank of the Dunsandel Stream in Block XIX, Blue Mountain Survey District; then north-westerly along the right bank of the said stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of part Section 1, Block X, Cape Campbell Survey District; then north-easterly to and along the said north-western boundary to Trig. Station Housetop; then easterly and south-easterly along the northern and north-eastern boundaries of part Section 1, aforesaid, to the southernmost corner of part Section 2, Block X, aforesaid; then easterly along a right line between the said southern corner of part Section 2 and Trig. Station Single Hill to its intersection with the eastern side of Number 1 State Highway; then generally southerly along that roadside, and the western boundary of Section 15, Block VI, Cape Campbell Survey District, to the south-western corner of that section; then southerly along a right line, across a public road, to the northernmost corner of part Section 6, Block XI aforesaid; then south-easterly along the south-western boundary of that road to the sea coast; then generally northerly along the sea coast to a point due east of the southernmost corner of Section 4, Block XIV, Arapawa Survey District; then due east along a right line to its intersection with meridian of longitude 174° 30′ East; then due north along that meridian to its intersection with the parallel of longitude 40° 30′ South; then due west along that parallel of latitude to a point due north of Pukerau Point; then due south to the point of commencement.

At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of May 1974

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Waimakariri Ashley Hydatids Control District Order 1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The areas comprising the counties of Oxford, Rangiora, and Eyre and the Boroughs of Rangiora and Kaiapoi as from time to time constituted are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Waimakariri Ashley Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Waimakariri Ashley Hydatids Control Committee is hereby appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the Waimakariri Ashley Hydatids Control District.

Constitution of the Horowhenua Hydatids Control District (No. 745 Ag. 21171)

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Hydatids Act 1968, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Horowhenua Hydatids Control District Order 1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The areas comprising the County of Horowhenua and the Boroughs of Levin and Otaki as from time to time constituted are hereby declared to be united to form a hydatids control district to be called the Horowhenua Hydatids Control District.

  2. The Horowhenua County Council is hereby appointed the Hydatids Control Authority for the Horowhenua Hydatids Control District.
