At the Government House at Wellington this 20th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Agricultural Pests Destruc-
tion Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Awatere, Flaxbourne,
    Redwood, Sounds, Northbank, Wairau, Spray, Waihopai and
    Marlborough County Pest Destruction Districts Abolition
    Order 1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
June 1974.

  1. The pest destruction districts described in the Schedule
    hereto are hereby abolished.

  2. The assets and liabilities of the boards of the pest
    destruction districts named in the Schedule hereto, includ-
    ing any real or personal property, are hereby transferred
    to the board of the Marlborough Pest Destruction District
    to be constituted by Order in Council on the 1st day of
    June 1974.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Marlborough Pest
    Destruction District Order 1974.

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
June 1974.

  1. There is hereby constituted a pest destruction district
    to be known as the Marlborough Pest Destruction District,
    having as its boundaries that area specified in the Schedule
    hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE MARLBOROUGH PEST DESTRUCTION
DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Marlborough and Nelson Land Districts,
Marlborough and Awatere Counties bounded by a line
commencing on the sea coast at Pukerau Point in Block IV,
Whangamoa Survey District, and proceeding southerly along
a right line to North Castor Peak in Block VIII, Whangamoa
Survey District; thence south-easterly along the summit of
the range between North Castor and South Castor Peaks
to South Castor Peak; thence south-westerly along the
summit of the western watershed of the Ronga River and
the north-west watersheds of the Rai and Pelorus Rivers
to Trig Station B (Saddle Hill); thence south-easterly along
a right line to the source of the Heringa Stream; thence
south-easterly down the middle of the Heringa Stream to
its confluence with the Pelorus River in Block VII, Heringa
Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along the
