The Traffic (Inglewood Borough) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Inglewood Borough) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The Traffic (Inglewood Borough) Notice No. 1, 1969, dated the 9th day of December 1969†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to a road situated within Inglewood Borough is hereby revoked.

The Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of Regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of Regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice 1968, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, Regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956, and Regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956, dated the 8th day of May 1968†, which relates to Rotorua County at Holden’s Bay, Lynmore, Owhata, Ngapuna, and Hannah’s Bay, and the Traffic (Rotorua County) Notice No. 1, 1969, under Regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 11th day of March 1969‡, which relates to Rotorua County adjacent to Rotorua City, are hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Rotorua County at Hannah’s Bay, Holden’s Bay, Lynmore, and Owhata:

All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-eastern side of No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri) at its intersection with the north-eastern side of Tarawera Road; thence north-easterly generally along the said side of the said highway to the north-eastern side of Coulter Road; thence south-easterly generally along the said side of Coulter Road to its southern end; thence southerly generally by a right line to a point on the north-eastern side of Tarawera Road 240 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said roadside from Highfield Place; thence north-westerly generally along the north-eastern side of Tarawera Road to the commencing point. All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the south-western side of No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri) at its intersection with the southern end of Sunrise Avenue; thence along the south-western side of Sunrise Avenue to its north-western end; thence northerly generally by a right line to the western end of Holden Avenue; thence due north by a right line to the foreshore of Lake Rotorua; thence north-easterly generally along the foreshore of the said lake to a point due west of the north-eastern end of Willow Avenue; thence due east by a right line across the eastern end of Willow Avenue to the western side of No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri); thence southerly and south-westerly generally along the said side of the said highway to Sunrise Avenue to the commencing point.

SITUATED within Rotorua County at Ngapuna:

Allen Mills Road.
Hakopa Road.
Hona Road.
Huranga Avenue.
Innes Tartan Place.
Marino Road.
Moke Road.
Moses Road.
Vaughan Road: from No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri) to a point 800 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from the said highway.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Rotorua County, adjacent to Rotorua City:

No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri): from the eastern boundary of Rotorua City to a point 80 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Alfred Road.

THIRD SCHEDULE

SITUATED within the Rotorua County, at Lynmore:

Awatea Terrace.
Tarawera Road: from No. 30 State Highway (Te Kuiti-Whakatane via Atiamuri) to a point 1450 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said road from the said highway.

The Traffic (Richmond Borough and Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Richmond Borough and Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of Regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*

4. The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be limited speed zones for the purposes of Regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

5. The Traffic (Richmond Borough and Waimea County) Notice No. 1, 1970, dated the 6th day of August 1970†, under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulations 27 and 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Richmond Borough is hereby revoked.
