The Traffic (Kaitaia Borough) Notice No. 1, 1974

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Kaitaia Borough) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The road specified in the First Schedule hereto is hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to the a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 13th day of April 1967†, which relates to a road situated within Kaitaia Borough is hereby revoked.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaitaia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the eastern boundary of Kaitaia Borough to a point 460 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from the said boundary.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Kaitaia Borough:

No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the eastern boundary of Kaitaia Borough to a point 460 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said highway from the said boundary.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 2, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

3. The Traffic (Piako County) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the 22nd day of January 1974†, under regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Piako County at Manawaru is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Piako County at Manawaru:

Shaftesbury Road: from Manawaru Road to a point 280 metres measured north-easterly generally along Shaftesbury Road from Manawaru Road.

Manawaru Road: from a point 140 metres measured north-westerly generally along the said road from School Road to a point, 60 metres measured, south-easterly generally along Manawaru Road from Shaftesbury Road.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

2. The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

3. The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

4. The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 4, 1969, dated the 28th day of July 1969† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956‡, which relates to roads situated within Whakatane County at Edgecumbe is hereby revoked.

Main Street: from Riverlea-Otakiri Road to the Edgecumbe-Awakeri Road.

College Road: from the Matata-Edgecumbe Road to a point 220 metres measured north-easterly generally along College Road from Edgecumbe Soldiers Road.
