Limiting the Public Right of Way over Land Around Lake Taupo

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 (3) of the Maori Land Amendment and Maori Land Claims Adjustment Act 1926, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as follows:

The public right of way over the land described in the Schedule hereto extends from the margin of Lake Taupo to the limit delineated on the plans in the Schedule hereto.
This Proclamation shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Block or Locality Right of Way
Waipahihi (Taupo) Limited to all that piece of Waipahihi C75 Block (ML 13990) situated in Block 11, Tauhara Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point on the north-western boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block and proceeding to its north-eastern boundary, thence south to the southern boundary of Waipahihi 1 Block, thence westwards along an extension of that boundary to a point 4 metres distant therefrom, thence generally southerly by a line parallel to and 4 metres distant from the eastern boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block to No. 1 State Highway, then southerly along the western side of that highway to a point 4 metres distant from and parallel to the north-eastern boundary of Waipahihi C6A, thence generally westerly and southerly along a line 4 metres distant from and parallel to the eastern boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block to No. 1 State Highway, thence generally southerly, westerly, and northerly along the boundary of Waipahihi C75 Block to the point of commencement.

The Proclamation made on the 15th day of January 1974 and published in the Gazette, No. 3, of 24 January 1974 is hereby revoked.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 11th day of April 1974.
