A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward
Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby (a) proclaim and declare that the land described in
the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for soil conservation
and river control purposes and shall vest in the Hawke's
Bay Catchment Board as from the 24th day of April 1974;
and (b) further declare the land described in the said
Schedule to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.
