The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone for the purposes of regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Hamilton City) Notice No. 1, 1973, dated the 27th day of September 1973 under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulations 27 and 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Hamilton City, is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hamilton City:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from the north-western boundary of Hamilton City to Vardon Road and from Mangaonua Stream to Riverlea Road and from a point 60 metres measured southerly generally along the said highway from Anglesea Street to a point 40 metres measured westerly generally along the said highway from Johnsview Terrace.
No. 3 State Highway: Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 60 metres northerly generally along the said highway from Lorne Street and from the southern boundary of Hamilton City to a point 100 metres measured south-easterly generally along the said highway from Tomin Road.
No. 23 State Highway (Hamilton-Raglan): from the western boundary of Hamilton City to Caernarvon Street.
No. 26 State Highway (Hamilton-Kopu): from the eastern boundary of Hamilton City to a point 140 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said State highway from Berkley Avenue.
Avalon Drive: from the northern boundary of Hamilton City to Rotokauri Road.
Crosby Road: from a point 80 metres measured easterly generally along the said road from Sussex Street to the eastern boundary of Hamilton City.
Grand View Road: from Brymer Road to a point 440 metres measured south-westerly generally along Grand View Road from Roy Street.
Greenwood Street: from a point 160 metres measured southerly generally along Greenwood Street from Killarney Road to Kahikatea Drive.
Hillsborough Terrace: from the southern side of Tisdall Street to the No. 3 State Highway (Hamilton-Woodville via New Plymouth).
Hukanui Road: from the northern boundary of Hamilton City to a point 80 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Gerrand Place.
Kahikatea Drive: from a point 160 metres measured westerly generally along the said drive from Tawa Street to Greenwood Street.
Peacockes Road: from the south-eastern boundary of Hamilton City to Norrie Street.
Pukete Road: from the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) to Sandwich Road.
River Road: from the northern boundary of Hamilton City to a point 160 metres measured northerly generally along the said road from Glen Lynne Avenue.
Ruakura Road: from Silverdale Road to a point 140 metres measured easterly generally along Ruakura Road from Peachgrove Road.
Tuhikaramaea Road: from the south-western boundary of Hamilton City to a point 620 metres measured south-westerly generally along the said road from the No. 23 State Highway (Hamilton-Raglan).
SITUATED within Hamilton City and Waikato County, adjacent to Hamilton City:
Silverdale Road: from Ruakura Road to Carrington Avenue and from the No. 26 State Highway (Hamilton-Kopu) to a point 180 metres measured north-westerly generally along Silverdale Road from the said State highway.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hamilton City:
Peacockes Road: from the south-eastern boundary of Hamilton City to Norrie Street.
THIRD SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hamilton City and Waikato County:
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff): from Pukete Road to Vardon Road and from a point 60 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Anglesea Street to a point 40 metres measured westerly generally along the said State highway from Johnsview Terrace.

The Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1974
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1974.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Third Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 40-miles-an-hour speed limit areas for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.

The Traffic (Hawke’s Bay and Hastings City) Notice No. 1, 1972, dated the 26th day of April 1972† under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, which relates to roads situated within Hawke’s Bay, adjacent to Hastings County is hereby revoked.
