Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block VI, Kumeu
Survey District, for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the
provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take for
road the land described in the Schedule hereto such land
to be used for the reconstruction of State Highway 16
at Rewiti to widen the existing road. And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the post office at Helensville and
is there open for inspection, that all persons directly affected
by the taking of the said land should, if they have any
objection to the taking of the said land, not being an
objection to the amount or payment of compensation, make
a written objection and send it within 40 days after the
first publication of this notice, to the Town and Country
Planning Appeal Board at Wellington; and that, if any
objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public
hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 38.6 perches situated in
Block VI, Kumeu Survey District, North Auckland R.D.,
and being part Ongarahu A3B6 Block, as shown on plan
M.O.W. 27722 (S.O. 46026) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works and Development at Wellington and
thereon coloured yellow. The land is situated in Rewiti.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby
proclaims as road the land described in the First Schedule
hereto, which land shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors,
and Inhabitants of the County of Bay of Islands and also
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto; also proclaims that the road first described in the
said Second Schedule shall, when so closed, vest in the

Amending a Notice Proclaiming Land as Road, Road
Closed, and Vested in Block VI, Norsewood, and
Block V, Takapau Survey Districts, Dannevirke County

PURSUANT to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928,
the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends
the notice dated the 12th day of June 1973, and published
in Gazette, 21 June 1973, No. 59, at page 1156, proclaiming
land as road, road closed, and vested in Block VI, Norse-
wood, and Block V, Takapau Survey Districts, Dannevirke
County, by omitting therefrom the name "Richard Andrew
Anderson" and substituting the name "Richard Andrew
Andersen"; and hereby further amends the said notice
by omitting therefrom the words "memorandum of mort-
gage No. 272323", and substituting the words "memoranda
of mortgage No. 272324 and No. 272325"; and hereby
further amends the said notice by omitting from the First
Schedule the area of land containing 7.1 perches firstly
described therein and substituting the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

ALL that piece of land containing 7.1 perches, being part
