PURSUANT to section 3 of the Wellington (City) Streets
Empowering Act 1909, His Excellency the Governor-General,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby approves of the resolution passed by the
Wellington City Council on the second day of July 1973,
and set out in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

THAT the Wellington City Council in exercise of the powers
vested in it by section 3 (1) of the Wellington (City) Streets
Empowering Act 1909, doth hereby resolve that Leslie Street
in the City of Wellington being more particularly shown
on the plan annexed hereto and marked WSE 1 shall hence-
forth be public street in the City of Wellington.

As shown on the plan marked M.O.W. 27617 deposited
in the office of the Minister of Works and Development at
Wellington.

Present:

THE HON. H. WATT PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Union of Mimihau,
    Tokanui and Waimahaka Pest Destruction Districts Order

(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day
of April 1974.

  1. The boundaries of the Mimihau Pest Destruction District
    (which was constituted by Order in Council on the 26th day
    of July 1961*), the Tokanui Pest Destruction District (which
    was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of
    December 1954†), and the Waimahaka Pest Destruction
    District (which was constituted by Order in Council on
    the 8th day of March 1950‡), are hereby declared united
    to form one district to be called the Southern Southland
    Pest Destruction District, the boundaries of which shall be
    those specified in the Schedule hereto.

  2. The basis on which the Board for the said District
    shall first levy its general rate shall be the acreage of the
    land occupied by the ratepayer.

SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF SOUTHERN SOUTHLAND PEST DESTRUCTION
DISTRICT

THE boundaries of the Southern Southland Pest Destruction
District shall be that area of land contained in the following
districts:
