of the shingle washing area 2 marker posts painted white
showing the limits of the area in such use.
(5) The licensee shall conduct the shingle washing operations
in such a manner as not to cause damage to the
roadway and the public shall have access to the road or
way along the foreshore.

Licensing the Waikato Valley Authority to Occupy a Site
for a Revetment on the Waikato River at Meremere
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I,
Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in
exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport,
hereby license and permit the Waikato Valley Authority
(hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include
its successors or assigns unless the context requires a
different construction) to use and occupy a part of the
bed of the Waikato River at Meremere as shown on plan
marked M.D. 15231 and deposited in the office of the Ministry
of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of maintaining
thereon a revetment as shown on the said plan, such
licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and
subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule
hereto.
SCHEDULE
CONDITIONS
(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence
Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations
shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 14 years from the
1st day of April 1974.
(3) The annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be
ten cents (10c) payable on demand; provided always that
the Minister may review the annual sum payable at the
end of the 1st year or any subsequent year of the said
term.

Licensing the Chatham Islands County Council to Occupy
a Site for a Wharf at Pitt Island, Chatham Islands
PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I,

as shown on plan marked M.D. 15169 and deposited in
the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for
the purpose of maintaining thereon a wharf as shown on
the said plan, such licence to be held and enjoyed by
the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions
set forth in the Schedule hereto.
