Consenting to Raising of Loans by Certain Local Authorities

PURSUANT to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance,

Licensing Owhiro Bay Quarries Ltd. to Occupy a Site for Shingle Washing Operations in Cook Strait

PURSUANT to section 162 of the Harbours Act 1950, I, Peter Edward Muers of the Ministry of Transport, in exercise of powers delegated by the Minister of Transport, hereby license and permit Owhiro Bay Quarries Ltd. (hereinafter called the licensee, which term shall include its successors or assigns unless the context requires a different construction) to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and bed of the sea in Cook Strait as shown on plan marked M.D. 15233 and deposited in the office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington, for the purpose of shingle washing operations, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the licensee upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

CONDITIONS

(1) This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1960, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable, apply hereto.
(2) The term of the licence shall be 3 years from the 1st day of April 1974.
(3) The premium payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20) and the annual sum so payable by the licensee shall be twenty dollars ($20); provided always
