At the request of parties to the inquiries affected, the Board has decided to postpone the public hearings, in respect of the above-mentioned goods, which were advertised in Notices No. 379 and 398. Plants Declared a Noxious Weed Under the Noxious Weeds Act 1950 in the County of Waikohu (Notice No. 680 Ag. 20649A)

PURSUANT to a delegation from the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries under the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Act 1953, for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the following Special Order, made by the Waikohu County Council on the 18th day of February 1974 is hereby published.

SPECIAL ORDER

“IN pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 3 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, the Waikohu County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:

That the plants mentioned in the Schedule hereunder be declared noxious weeds within the boundaries of the County of Waikohu.

SCHEDULE

(Australian) Sedge (Carex Longebrachiata, also known as Carex longifolia). Montpelier Broom (Cytisus monspessulanus).”
