PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Edward Denis Blundell, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for waterworks and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Mount Maunganui as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of March 1974.

PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

1. This order shall come into force on 1 April 1974.

2. The area described in the First Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the district of Hawke's Bay County and included in the district of Napier City.

3. The area described in the Second Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the district of Napier City and included in the district of Hawke's Bay County.
