WAIKATO COUNTY COUNCIL
HOROTIU-KOMAKORAU ROAD
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928:
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Waikato County Council proposes to execute a certain public work namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken and the roads described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be stopped and the lands described in the Third Schedule hereto are required to be taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the

lands so required to be taken and of the portions of roads required to be stopped are deposited at the offices of the Waikato County Council, Clyde Street, Hamilton East, and there open for inspection; all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands or by the stopping of the said roads should if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands for road, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, send such objection in writing to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board in Wellington within 40 days of the first publication of this notice. All persons affected by the stopping of the said roads should if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or to the stopping of the said roads, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection to the office of the Council within 40 days of the first publication of this notice.
Public hearings of the objections will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearings.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
NOTICE is hereby given that Heathcote Beetham Williams, of Turihaua near Gisborne, sheepfarmer, intends to apply to the House of Representatives for leave to bring in the abovementioned Bill.
The objects of the Bill are to ensure the maintenance and development of the property at Rere containing 323 acres 3 roods 04.1 perches, more or less, and more popularly known as Eastwoodhill, as an arboretum, by establishing a constitution suitable for that purpose.
